New 32mm (1.25 Inch) Thick ETRI DC Fans Provide Quieter 100 CFM Cooling Power

ETRI is now taking orders on a unique new line of 32 mm (1.25-inch) thick DC fans that deliver more than 100 CFM cooling power with only 43 dBA of rated noise.

Designated the 158 Series, the new fans measure 120 mm square (4.69 inches)  by only 32 mm thick (1.25-inches). They are designed for use in telecom control racks and tightly packed enclosures where reliable air/pressure performance is needed.

First developed by ETRI to remedy a specific customer design problem, the new fan is available now as an ETRI catalog product for broader application.

The new 158 models offer designers an alternative when they find a standard 38mm fan is too thick for their design and a 25mm fan lacks needed cooling power.

Model 158 fans come in standard voltages of 5, 12, 24 and 48 VDC; other voltages are available as special orders. ETRI supplies the fans in three speed versions, up to 3050 rpm. Speed sensor and alarm  may be ordered as options.

The fans operate at temperatures from -20ƒC to +70ƒC, and conform to UL, CSA, VDE and CE safety standards.
